This Keystone Montana fifth wheel arrived with soft spots and staining in the living-area floor near the slide and entry aisle. We opened the area, removed compromised OSB, repaired the framing, and rebuilt the subfloor. After leveling and prep, we installed a durable wood-look vinyl plank floor and finished the trim so the room presents like factory new.
Leak trace and moisture mapping around slide wall and aisle
Furniture, trim, and floor registers removed for access
Damaged vinyl and compromised OSB subfloor cut out and discarded
Framing inspected, cleaned, treated, and sistered where needed
New OSB subfloor panels installed with adhesive and screw schedule
Seams glued, sanded, and leveled for a flat runout
Vinyl plank flooring installed with tight seams and straight layout
Slide clearance and thresholds adjusted for smooth operation
Base trim and transitions refit; registers re-seated and edges sealed
Final clean, inspection, and customer walkthrough
